COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSOCIATION - CHAS
SCOPE: Site Planning, Grading, Planting, Irrigation, Tree Preservation
DESCRIPTION: This community-focused medical clinic renovation resulted in improved security through the removal of overgrown vegetation and substantial earthwork which eliminated several areas for unwanted pedestrian activity.
Several mature trees were also protected during this major site renovation, minimizing the impact to the communities’ urban forest. Final design elements included drought-tolerant plant material, rain gardens, architectural trellises, and an employee patio.
